What is Kuroiler?
Kuroiler is a multi-coloured hybrid developed for rural poultry systems. It was selected to improve growth and laying over unimproved village birds while retaining active foraging behaviour and hardiness under local conditions.
Who is it best for?
Backyard farmers who value an active scavenging bird.
Farmers looking for both household eggs and meat sales.
Low-input or semi-intensive systems that still provide supplementary feed and health care.
How is it different?
Kuroiler is usually the strongest fit for farmers prioritising foraging and adaptability. Sasso tends to be more meat-forward, while Kenbro is a balanced free-range all-rounder. Improved Kienyeji is the locally rooted indigenous-type option.
Choosing the right age
Select the exact age before adding to cart. Older birds cost more because more feed, care and time have already gone into raising them.
Younger growers cost less but need more time and management on your farm.
Older growers reduce the time to market or laying age.
Prepare secure, ventilated housing, age-appropriate feed, clean water and enough feeder and drinker space.
Review the batch vaccination record and plan the next vaccine or booster before arrival.
Veterinarian-certified vaccination schedule
ChickMagnet follows a veterinarian-certified vaccination schedule. Every bird receives every dose due by its selected age, and each dose is recorded against the current batch. Every vaccine due by the selected week is completed and recorded. The batch record shows what ChickMagnet has administered and which later doses the buyer must continue after delivery.
Day 1: Marek's disease, Gumboro, Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis vaccines at the hatchery.
Days 10 to 12: Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis booster.
Days 18 to 21: Gumboro booster.
Week 6: Fowl pox vaccine.
Week 8: Fowl typhoid vaccine.
Week 18: Newcastle disease booster, then repeat every three to four months under veterinary guidance.
How ChickMagnet cares for the flock
The birds are raised on a clean ChickMagnet farm by trained farm managers who monitor their health, housing, feed and water every day.
Housing, feeders and drinkers are cleaned and managed to reduce avoidable disease risk.
Vaccines are given when due for the bird’s age and recorded for the current batch.
Any bird showing signs of illness is assessed rather than vaccinated while sick.

Important: Low-input does not mean no-input. Reliable water, balanced feed, vaccination, predator protection and dry housing are still necessary. Chicks are sold unsexed. ChickMagnet does not guarantee sex, but the farm tries to balance male and female chicks where possible. ChickMagnet completes every vaccination due before delivery; the buyer is responsible for continuing later doses.
