Product guide
Know what you are buying
A mature broiler is a specialised meat chicken selected for efficient growth. This is the clearest choice when the goal is meat rather than a future laying flock.
Purpose
Meat production
Sold as
One live bird
Key difference
Faster-growing meat type
Sex
Unsexed, balanced where possible
What is a broiler?
A broiler is bred primarily for meat. Unlike Sasso, Kenbro, Kuroiler and Improved Kienyeji, it is not intended as a balanced meat-and-egg bird.
Who is it best for?
Buyers who want a mature live chicken for meat.
Farmers with a clear plan for final handling or processing.
Customers who value predictable meat yield over laying potential.
Before you order
Prepare clean, ventilated holding space and water.
Ask ChickMagnet about the current batch age and average size.
Plan humane transport and processing before collection or delivery.
Veterinarian-certified vaccination schedule
ChickMagnet follows a veterinarian-certified vaccination schedule. Every bird receives every dose due by its selected age, and each dose is recorded against the current batch. Every vaccine due through the bird’s current age is completed and recorded. The batch record is provided, and later Newcastle boosters continue under veterinary guidance.
Day 1: Marek's disease, Gumboro, Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis vaccines at the hatchery.
Days 10 to 12: Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis booster.
Days 18 to 21: Gumboro booster.
Week 6: Fowl pox vaccine.
Week 8: Fowl typhoid vaccine.
Week 18: Newcastle disease booster, then repeat every three to four months under veterinary guidance.
How ChickMagnet cares for the flock
The birds are raised on a clean ChickMagnet farm by trained farm managers who monitor their health, housing, feed and water every day.
Housing, feeders and drinkers are cleaned and managed to reduce avoidable disease risk.
Vaccines are given when due for the bird’s age and recorded for the current batch.
Any bird showing signs of illness is assessed rather than vaccinated while sick.

Important: Broilers still require careful feed, water, ventilation and health management. They are not a low-input substitute for an indigenous-type bird. Birds are sold unsexed, with no sex guarantee, although ChickMagnet tries to balance male and female birds where possible.
